General admission procedure for teacher training programmes

The Centre for Teacher Education is responsible for the planning and coordination of the general admission procedure for teacher training programmes at primary and secondary level for the admission procedure network, which is a cooperation of eleven universities and university colleges of teacher education in five federal states and two development networks.
It is responsible for the coordination and central provision of the general admission procedure for teacher training programmes in the admission procedure network and works closely with the partner institutions, stakeholders and the participating organisational units at the University of Graz.
In addition, the Centre for Teacher Education plans and organises the implementation of selection procedures in the South-East Development Network as required.
The staff in the Admissions Procedure department
implement the resolutions of the Admission Procedure Steering Group and ensure compliance with and fulfilment of the legal framework conditions,
take over the entire process management for the Admissions Procedure Network and work on the ongoing optimisation of processes,
organise and manage the joint application portal and central applicant management for the joint admissions procedure,
ensure the operational implementation of the admissions procedure at the University of Graz,
serve as a central point of contact for enquiries from partner institutions and applicants,
emphasise demand-oriented design and communication of complex processes,
work closely with colleagues in other departments,
accompany, inform and advise applicants during the admission procedure and before the start of their studies.
