The Centre for Teacher Education works in cooperation with the PH Steiermark at the Centre for Pedagogical-Practical Studies (ZePPS) in the coordination, organisation and further development of the internship programme for the secondary general education teacher training course. The ZePPS also designs various projects in the area of practical teacher training, such as didactic support for the summer school and implements these to a high standard. The focus here is on the interweaving of theory and practice.
The staff in the Pedagogical-Practical Studies department
support the institutions at the Graz location both in the design and organisation as well as in the organisation and practical training places,
develop new formats in order to strengthen the theoretical-practical at the university strengthen the link between theory and practice at the university,
network the actors school practice,
organise organise and carry out student counselling sessions, e.g. in the form of information events.
