The Centre for Teacher Education coordinates teaching at the Graz site for the secondary general education teacher training programme across all institutions. Within the institution, the Centre is involved in curriculum planning in all subjects and areas on behalf of the Vice-Rectorate for Studies and Teaching. The Centre for Teacher Education is also responsible for quality assurance and development in the area of teaching. Projects for this are either initiated by the Centre on the basis of identified needs for action or developed and implemented at the request of the Vice-Rectorate or the Deans of Studies.

The employees in the area of curriculum planning

plan and coordinate the internal and cross-institutional curriculum process at the Graz site,
work closely with the deans of studies to contribute to the further development of high-quality teaching and ensure the necessary quantitative supply,
together with the LQM, provide research and analyses for the implementation and further development of curriculum planning in the area of teaching,
create initiatives for additional programmes that complement the range of courses on offer.
